From the CEO’s office to research and communications, TEF is opening its doors to passionate professionals ready to be part of Africa’s biggest entrepreneurship story.

If you have ever wanted to work somewhere that genuinely moves the needle for African entrepreneurs, this is worth paying close attention to. The Tony Elumelu Foundation, Africa’s leading philanthropy dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs across the continent, is currently hiring for five different roles, and there is a good chance one of them fits exactly where your skills and passion meet.

Founded in 2010 by African investor and philanthropist Tony O. Elumelu, TEF has committed over $100 million to empowering African entrepreneurs, supporting more than 9,000 founders across all 54 African countries and reaching over a million individuals through its programmes and digital platforms like TEFConnect. This is not just a job opportunity. It is a chance to work inside one of the most respected engines of economic transformation on the continent.

Here is a breakdown of the five roles currently open, so you can find the one built for you.

1. Executive Assistant To The CEO

This role sits right at the center of TEF’s leadership, coordinating the CEO’s office and acting as a key liaison between the CEO’s office, the Foundation, and the wider Heirs Holdings Group. If you are highly organized, discreet, and thrive working closely with top level leadership, this role was built for you.

2. Brand Officer

TEF’s brand tells the story of thousands of entrepreneurs across Africa, and the Brand Officer helps keep that story consistent, compelling, and impactful across every communication channel. This role suits someone with a sharp eye for brand consistency and a genuine passion for storytelling.

3. Research Manager

The Research Manager will lead the revival and strategic direction of the Africapitalism Institute, positioning it as a leading research and thought leadership platform across Africa. If you are passionate about policy, economic development, and shaping the narrative around Africa’s private sector led growth, this role gives you a real platform to influence that conversation.

4. M&E Officer

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer supports the design and implementation of systems that evaluate TEF’s programmes across all 54 African countries, ensuring the Foundation’s work translates into trackable outcomes. This role fits someone with strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in impact measurement.

5. Communications Executive

The Communications Executive supports the Foundation’s internal and external communication activities, including press releases, articles, newsletters, and media relations. This role suits a sharp writer with strong digital communication instincts.

Final Word: If This Sounds Like You, Reach Out

What makes this hiring round different from a typical job listing is the sheer range of roles on offer. Whether your strength lies in executive support, branding, research, impact measurement, or communications, there is a genuine seat at the table for you within an organization rooted in Africapitalism, the belief that entrepreneurship is the primary driver of Africa’s social and economic transformation.

Opportunities to work inside an organization with this level of pan African impact do not come around often. If any of these five roles feel like the right fit for your skills and passion, do not sit on it.
